Wikiplanning is available to a variety of potential users. Local Governments and Agencies, Non Profit Organizations and Foundations, Private Developers and Corporations can all benefit from Wikiplannings unique form of Civic Engagement.
Each Wikiplanning project is designed to achieve the specific goals of its respective sponsor. Ideally, each sponsor has a list of specific questions for which they seek answers. Wikiplanning can help with formulating these questions, if so desired.
Wikiplanning can work with existing content or we can participate in content generation on a variety of levels. From photographic visual preferences to complete master plans, our background in Urban Design team-building is always available.
Surveys are designed specifically to yield qualitative and quantitative data specific to the respective project. The results are provided as both empirical data and in summary report form.
Each project receives an 'Invitation Protocol' that is specifically created to yield excellent response characteristics, with special attention on diverse demographics. One of our leading mantras is LEAVE NO ONE OUT!
Wikiplanning project invitees are engaged in an ongoing 'Online Conversation'. Following an initial visit, they are contacted via email as additional activities for their specific project become available, and they receive project updates as well as 'Thank You' emails following their participation. These services are provided only to those that opt in
The Wikiplanning Web-Based Suite of tools is available to other Urban Design/Planning Professionals as a standalone resource that can be used for new or ongoing projects, with Wikiplanning handling the Content Management. Please contact us for more information
